5 Most Exasperating WordPress Glitches I Keep Encountering

WordPress problems are something I encounter ever-so frequently. These frustratingly incessant problems plague my writing experience to the point of complicating the most simplest of things and turning them into tedious and unnecessary hassles. It is infuriating and inconvenient, to say the least, and perhaps that by writing them, I could figure out whether or not these problems are my own, or problems that have plagued the community all this while.

Before I start, let me just say that I wouldn’t have written this without the suggestion from Yomu of Umai Yomu. He responded to my frequent dissatisfaction of these issues on twitter, and suggested that I write them out in a post in the hopes that the relevant parties might be made aware of these issues. So thanks Yomu!

I’ll be arranging this list from the least annoying issues to the most obnoxious problems. Here we go!

Top 6 Anime Girls with Straight Bangs

I’ve recently been taking more notice of anime characters and their hairstyles, partly because the hairstyles of the current show I’m watching came in all shapes and forms (yes Rock Lee was also an influence). So it got me thinking, why not create a list about hairstyles? Hair is something we always look at to distinguish various characters in anime. It’s a character’s identity and it even expresses their personality. So today, I’ll be sharing some of the best female anime characters with great hair. Specifically, great blunt bangs.

But first, let’s lay down some rules. It’s a given that there are lots of anime ladies with front bangs. So in this list, I will try only to include the characters with the straightest, squarest and the neatest blunt bangs.

These characters, whether it be their looks, their personality, or simply the world they’re in, are characters that have left quite the impression. Okay, so maybe it’s not all just about hair. Regardless, these characters are some of the few that stood out to me. So here are my 6 best anime girls with straight cut fringes! Be prepared for the cute, the charismatic, the classy and even the crazy!

Perhaps this time, I won’t be too heavily Isekai favoured. With that said, here are the Top 10 anime I’m looking forward to watching next season!

Best Anime For Each Year Of The Decade

@ProZD twitter

Recently I’ve been thinking hard on what I should post as my final entry of 2019, some might even say my final entry of the decade. I thought of posting a resolution, or maybe a thesis of my passion for anime, but neither really turned out well in the draft stage. I wanted to leave an impact, or to perhaps make my final post of 2019 a memorable one, but I couldn’t write the way I wanted to.

But then I woke up to this tweet, and I immediately knew that this was going to be what I’ll do for my final post in 2019. My favourite anime for each year of the decade. A simple yet appropriate way to end off the year, and the decade.

Alright, here it is, my final post of the decade!

Put a Tune to It – Anime If They Were Songs

So a while back, I’ve been tagged by the amazing Crow for this rather interesting tag. As usual, I procrastinated, and eventually Voyager tagged me as well! So I figured it’s about time I got to it. Thanks again for the nominations guys! If for some reason you haven’t already checked these guys out, you should stop whatever you’re doing and go check them out first!

This tag has recently been going around, and it’s called Put a Tune to It. The tag involves both music AND anime, and I’m totally all for that! Personally I listen to an even balance of Japanese music, Korean music and Western music among many others, so it’s a bummer that I can only include Western music. Why? Because of the rules. But as much as I hate rules, rules are rules.

The Rules:

  • Choose any number of western songs (any genre) that you think best sums up an anime or manga of any type or genre.
    • If you want to pick more than 1 from each section that’s fine. Or if you can’t think of one for a specific category that’s fine also.
  • Explain why you think your choices could work. Is it the lyrics? The tune and the beat? Or just the music video?
  • Link back to the original post so I can read people’s suggestions, I’d love to read everyone’s ideas.
  • Include Put a Tune to It in your tags so everyone including myself can find them all easily.
  • Nominate around 1-5 bloggers.

Alright, here goes!

Top 15 Best Anime Songs Of 2019

2019 has seen quite a number of great anime, and a lot of awesome anime music as well. Since everyone loves music and we all love anime, I thought why not create a list of my favourite anime songs from the year! Because let’s face it, there were indeed lots of amazing music this year that has to be talked about.

So, what do I mean by anime songs exactly? Well, I just mean any song that has been made for or used in any anime. Be it anime openings, endings or the soundtracks, as long as it’s a part of an anime that’s been released this year, it’s included.

But before I begin, let me just iterate that this list is meant to be extremely biased and skewed towards my own musical preferences. In fact, it might even be influenced by my level of enjoyment of a certain anime. Who knows? What matters is that I like it, and you just might too.

Judging Criterion

  1. Is It Captivating?
  2. Is It Playlist Worthy?
  3. Did I Watch The Anime?
  4. Extremely Biased Musical Preferences (?)

Okay, pretty meagre judging standards, but whatever. Here are my top 15 anime songs of 2019!

Perspective Of An Ordinary Anime Fan: Fall 2019 Anime

As most of the Summer 2019 anime concludes, it is time to usher in other exciting new anime in the Fall 2019 anime season. As a fairly ordinary anime fan myself, I’ll be shedding light onto the upcoming anime an ordinary anime fan like myself would look out for in this new season.

What I’ll be paying attention to in my list are some of the more interesting premises and stories, or characters that look mighty interesting, and maybe even generic stories that left a good impression on me. Also, keep in mind that I have little to no background knowledge regarding these stories and their original sources. So without further ado, here’s my simple list of Fall 2019 anime that I’m looking out for.
